With easily configurable magnetic force, the OnRobot MG10 gripper offers adjustable strength to perfectly match demanding applications such as picking metal sheets one at a time. A built-in proximity sensor detects whether a part has been picked, and multi-magnet configurations support applications that require reliable handling of large or heavy parts. For safe collaborative operation, the gripper keeps hold of parts even in the event of a power loss or emergency stop. The affordable MG10 requires no external air supply or cables, for fast, simple installation with no extra costs. Like OnRobot’s other hassle-free fully electric grippers, the MG10 uses the Quick Changer system and OnRobot’s intuitive programming for quick, easy setup. The MG10 is ideal for unusually shaped parts as well as large flat metal sheets. Unlike vacuum grippers, the OnRobot magnetic gripper leaves no marks and can handle perforated, abrasive or dusty parts. In press and bending applications, the MG10 can control the part throughout the process, even as the part changes shape.
