Ortis – a robot for orthopaedic workshops

Ortis is a robotic system for milling positive and negative models of orthoses and prostheses. It precisely produces patient-specific shapes from polyurethane, soft foam, plaster and other materials, changes tools automatically and shortens production time.

Versions

• Ortis Essential – compact system with a 6 kg ABB robot (work area approx. 1000 mm), 1.0 kW electrospindle; for braces up to Ø600 × 1000 mm.
• Ortis Pro – 20 kg ABB or KUKA robot (approx. 1600 mm), 3.6 kW spindle; for braces up to Ø800 × 1200 mm.
• Ortis Enterprise – 40–60 kg ABB or KUKA robot (2000–2500 mm), 4.0 kW spindle, automatic tool change with a 10-slot magazine; for braces up to Ø1200 × 1500 mm.

All versions include laser tool length measurement, a 7-axis system with a rotary table and programming with ARPP.
