Automated screwdriving to boost productivity and quality has never been simpler, smarter or more cost-effective. The OnRobot smart screwdriver speeds up setup and programming, as everything you need is available right out of the box. Simply mount the screwdriver on any leading robot arm, fit the right bit, then enter the screw length and torque directly in the robot user interface. Precise torque control and an embedded axis eliminate extra integration time and cost and ensure consistent, accurate screw placement. Switching to a different screw type or size takes only minutes, reducing downtime and increasing return on investment. The OnRobot Screwdriver and available screw feeders handle a wide range of screw sizes from M1.6 to M6 and lengths up to 50 mm. Precise torque control ranges from 0.15 Nm to 5 Nm. More versatile and smarter than traditional tools, the OnRobot Screwdriver can detect during tightening whether a screw has been picked, whether its length is correct and whether it is properly seated. Protective features make it suitable for collaborative applications with screws up to 35 mm long, which are fully retracted into the screwdriver during movement. A safety stop is triggered automatically if the screw is subjected to excessive force along its axis, with a warning signal indicating the problem.
