Soft Gripper benefits and features
The new OnRobot Soft Gripper comes with three interchangeable silicone cups to handle a wide range of irregular shapes and delicate items, making it ideal for pick-and-place in food and beverage and other “clean” industries such as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, as well as manufacturing and packaging. The Soft Gripper comes with OnRobot’s revolutionary Quick Changer, a base unit and silicone cups in star or finger versions for greater flexibility. The silicone cups are dishwasher-safe and comply with FDA 21 CFR (non-fatty foods) and EC 1935/2004 regulations for food handling. The maximum payload of 2.2 kg depends on the shape, softness and friction of the items, and grip dimensions range from 11 mm to 118 mm depending on the cup used.
